FUNCTION
Relaxin-3 receptor 1 belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, It’s binding of the ligand inhibit cAMP accumulation. Upon ligand binding, the relaxin receptors activate adenylate cyclases through Gs proteins. RXFP3 is known to be important to several functions of the central nervous system, especially sensory processing under stressful conditions.
