Enables ATP binding activity and MAP kinase kinase kinase kinase activity. Involved in several processes, including JNK cascade; cellular response to phorbol 13-acetate 12-myristate; and protein phosphorylation. Located in membrane. Serine/threonine-protein kinase, which may play a role in the response to environmental stress. Appears to act upstream of the JUN N-terminal pathway. May play a role in hematopoietic lineage decisions and growth regulation. Able to autophosphorylate 5. Together with CLNK, it enhances CD3-triggered activation of T-cells and subsequent IL2 production.

Shipping

Storage

Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20C to -80C It is recommended that aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Reconstitute at 250 μg/ml in sterile water.
