Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 2 (Dock2) is a protein encoded in the human by the DOCK2 gene. Dock2 is a large (~180 kDa) protein involved in intracellular signalling networks. It is a member of the DOCK-A subfamily of the DOCK family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) which function as activators of small G-proteins. Dock2 specifically activates isoforms of the small G protein Rac.

Western blot analysis of DOCK2 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-DOCK2 antibody (HA721993) at 1/2,000 dilution.
Lane 1: Jurkat cell lysate Lane 2: THP-1 cell lysate Lane 3: Raji cell lysate Lane 4: 293T cell lysate (negative)
Lysates/proteins at 20 µg/Lane.
Predicted band size: 212 kDa Observed band size: 180 kDa
Exposure time: 3 minutes;
4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA721993) at 1/2,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
