SMRT / NCoR2 (Nuclear receptor corepressor 2, CTG repeat protein 26, SMAP270, Silencing mediator of retinoic acid and thyroid hormone receptor, Thyroid and retinoic-acid-receptor-associated corepressor, TRAC) is a transcriptional corepressor for nuclear receptors. SMRT / NCoR2 has been shown to play a role in regulating immune response, mediating DNA repair, and in neuronal differentiation and cardiac development. SMRT / NCoR2 is part of a large corepressor complex that contains SIN3A/B and histone deacetylases HDAC1 and HDAC2.

Flow cytometric analysis of MG-63 cells labeling NCOR2/SMRT.
Cells were fixed and permeabilized. Then stained with the primary antibody (HA500226, 1ug/ml) (red) compared with Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (green). After incubation of the primary antibody at +4℃ for an hour, the cells were stained with a Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at +4℃. Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).
Western blot analysis of NCOR2/SMRT on different lysates with Rabbit anti-NCOR2/SMRT antibody (HA500226) at 1/1,000 dilution.
