Target

Function

CDT1 (chromatin licensing and DNA replication factor 1) is a key licensing factor which functions to allow DNA replication. It is recruited (along with CDC6) by the ORC (Origin Recognition Complex) to sites of DNA replication and helps form the pre-replicative complex (pre-RC). Its activity during the cell cycle is regulated by its association with the Geminin protein geminin, which both inhibits CDT1 activity during S phase in order to prevent unregulated DNA replication and also to inhibit CDT1 proteolysis.

  • Western blot analysis of CDT1 on zebrafish whole organization lysate. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% BSA in PBS for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (ER2001-13, 1/500) was used in 5% BSA at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (<a href="/products/HA1001" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA1001</a>) at 1:5,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
